Here you could fine weblinks for practice test, questions, papers, old papers, lecture notes, videos, power points, materials etc.
Since the syllabus has been changed, the preparation strategies should be modified accordingly. Now, the paper would have multiple choice questions with a particular emphasis on analytical skills and scientific knowledge. The traditional way to just reading a text-book or bunch of notes would not work to crack this exam.
First, you should understand who is your competitor. It was estimated that around 100,000 students fight this exam every year, but the number of JRF is only 2000. It is a tough examination. Since the JRF amount has been increased to 16,000 and eventually would go high as 30,000 per month, the competition would get harder and harder.
Thanks to internet, some material is available. You can download terabytes of pdfs, videos, audios, notes, articles, reviews, powerpoints, question banks and bla and bla. But does just downloading these material help you, not at all. You need to join a group where intelligent people discuss every aspect of subject. You need to join an atmosphere where students can increase their analytical skills and scientific knowledge both together. Yes, we can provide you thousands of weblinks from where you can download tons of materials but it would not be beneficial if you dont discuss and analyze the material critically in a group.
Students still have problems to understand the languages and concept in essential to read books such as Voet Biochemistry. You cannot avoid these books and think about cracking the examination.
Please discuss each question and go to a clear meaning of each word and sentence.
